Let's practice sequencing! That means you put things in order. Click here to listen to a story. Now look at the pictures below and see if you can remember what happened first in the story, then next, then next until you get to the end. Try to put all of the pictures in order. You can watch the story again to see if you got them all in the right order.

Week of April 20--Making Connections
Making connections with a story makes you a better reader. While you're watching the video below, if the story reminds you of something, press the pause button and tell me or someone in your family what your connection is. Does something in the story remind you of another book you've read? Does it remind you of a movie? Does it remind you of something that's happened to you or someone you know? During the story I told you about some of the connections I made with the book.
Week of April 13--Fiction or Non-fiction?
Listen to "Guji Guji" and then decide if you think it's fiction (fake) or non-fiction (not fake.) Tell someone a reason that you think the story is fiction or non-fiction.
